Mind, Body and Spirit

Shri Wellness is a Denver-based consultancy created by Madison Waggoner, an Ayurvedic healer and yoga guide. Madison's passion is to inspire individuals to take ownership of their well-being, and to live a radiant and purposeful life.

1. Discovery

the mind-body connection

Many brand identities in the yoga and wellness space rely on cliché imagery that evoke common cultural perceptions, but fail to exemplify a thoughtful and professional practice. With this in mind Mothershed Design Company worked hard with Madison to establish an identity that felt organic and effortless, but also represented the structure and competency that she brings to the subject matter.

2. Design

brand identity   |   identity collateral   |   website design

Balance and strength are prevalent in the logo design. The three lines of the logomark represent the balance between the mind, body and spirit as well as the three primary doshas in Ayurveda—vata, pitta, and kapha. The lines are also arranged to form an "S" for "Shri.

In Ayurveda, many of the concepts and practices stem directly from observing nature. Therefore, nature directly inspired the color palette through shades of blue and green. The earthy palette and soft tones keep the designs airy while also feeling grounded.

Mothershed Design Company helped Madison establish a strategy and apply the brand to her website. The website conveys the core aspects of the brand by extending the light and effortless aesthetic while also presenting Madison as a knowledgable and professional resource. Madison continues to leverage the website for both brand awareness and creating resources for clients such as recipes and general wellness practices.

3. Delivery

a strong foundation

Shri Wellness has continued to thrive and expand the brand. Madison, the owner, was a great collaborator and continues to spread her wealth of knowledge with the foundation established by Mothershed Design Company.

client review:

"As a solo-preneur it can be difficult to flesh out ideas solely on your own. Josiah listened carefully to what I envisioned for my company, and he brought the brand to life. He is very thoughtful in how and why he builds a brand. Everything has purpose and intention."
